Te Maeva Nui Partnership

Since 2023, CIC and Te Rito are proud to be joint platinum sponsors of this important event in the Cook Islands Calendar. It marks the annual celebration of the nation’s self-governance. 2025 holds special significant as it marks the 60th anniversary of the Cook Islands gaining self-governance.

Cook Islands Robotics

In 2024, CIC supported the Cook Islands Youth Robotics team to participate in the First Global – Robotics competition in Athens, Greece bringing home a gold medal. CIC also gave the “Cocobots” team the opportunity to share its robotic invention with the participants of UMC 2024.

Autism Cook Islands

Autism Cook Islands is embarking on a new project – Purposeful Pathways to help young people with Autism develop work and life skills to set them up for future career paths. To do this they have opened a new Autism Cook Islands hub with a training café. Te Rito and CIC staff have volunteered their skills and time to get the hub ready for use including cleaning the property, painting murals, planting garden and donating materials.
